Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before purchasing a Maison Territo gift card during the Anniversary Promotion. By purchasing, accepting, or using a gift card and/or the related bonus card, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms.

1. The Promotion

To mark the first anniversary of Maison Territo (the “Boutique”), located at Royalmount, 5050 chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse, Mont-Royal (Québec) H4P 0C9, the Boutique is offering its customers a promotional bonus equal to ten percent (10%) of the value of any new Maison Territo paper gift card purchased in-store during the Promotion Period (the “Anniversary Promotion”).

The bonus is issued as a separate paper card (the “Bonus Card”) at the time of purchase, in addition to the original gift card purchased by the customer (the “Gift Card”).

2. Promotion Period

The Anniversary Promotion is valid only on Gift Cards purchased in-store at the Maison Territo boutique at Royalmount from the date of launch up to and including May 31, 2026, during regular boutique hours, while supplies last. Any Gift Card purchased before or after this period is not eligible for the Bonus Card.

Maison Territo reserves the right to end, suspend, or modify the Anniversary Promotion at any time, without prior notice, if its promotional inventory is depleted or for any reason it considers necessary.

3. The Maison Territo Gift Card

The Gift Card is a paper card issued by Maison Territo. Its value is not pre-printed: at the time of purchase, the salesperson handwrites or stamps on the card the monetary value chosen by the purchasing customer, in Canadian dollars (CAD).

The Gift Card has no monetary value until it is signed and dated by the Maison Territo salesperson at the time of purchase and the corresponding amount is paid in full.

Minimum value: one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100).
Maximum value per card: five thousand Canadian dollars (CAD $5,000).
Maximum purchase: the cumulative purchase of Gift Cards is limited to ten thousand Canadian dollars (CAD $10,000) per customer per day during the Anniversary Promotion.

The Gift Card is non-reloadable. Once its full value has been used, the card cannot be recharged or reused.

4. The Anniversary Bonus Card

The Bonus Card is a separate paper card given to the customer at no additional cost at the time the Gift Card is purchased.

The value of the Bonus Card is equal to ten percent (10%) of the value of the Gift Card purchased, rounded down to the nearest dollar. The corresponding amount is handwritten or stamped on the Bonus Card by the Maison Territo salesperson, in Canadian dollars (CAD).

Example: a Gift Card of CAD $200 entitles the customer to a Bonus Card of CAD $20.

The Bonus Card is offered as a courtesy by Maison Territo. It has no cash value, was not sold for monetary consideration, and is non-refundable.

5. Validity and Expiry

In accordance with sections 187.1 and following of the Québec Consumer Protection Act, the funds loaded on the Gift Card do not expire. The Gift Card remains valid until its full value has been used.

The Bonus Card, being a promotional card offered free of charge as part of the Anniversary Promotion, is valid for twelve (12) months from its date of issuance. The expiry date is handwritten or stamped on the Bonus Card by the Maison Territo salesperson at the time of issuance. After this date, the Bonus Card and any remaining balance on it will be void and may no longer be redeemed.

6. Use of the Cards

The Gift Card and the Bonus Card may be used only in person at the Maison Territo boutique located at Royalmount, Mont-Royal (Québec). They cannot be used online, by telephone, or at any other location.

To redeem a card, the holder must present the original paper card, signed and dated by a Maison Territo salesperson, at the time of payment. Photocopies, photographs, or any other reproduction of a card will not be accepted.

The cards may be used as full or partial payment toward any merchandise sold in-store. If the value of the card exceeds the amount of the purchase, the remaining balance will be handwritten or stamped on the back of the card by the salesperson, and the card may be used again for one or more subsequent purchases until its full value has been used or, in the case of the Bonus Card, until its expiry date.

If the amount of the purchase exceeds the value of the card, the customer must pay the difference using another accepted method of payment.

Gift Card and Bonus Card transactions are not eligible for additional discounts on the purchase of another gift card. The Bonus Card itself cannot be used to purchase another Gift Card or Bonus Card.

7. No Cash Refund - No Exchange for Cash

Neither the Gift Card nor the Bonus Card may be exchanged, in whole or in part, for cash, cheque, store credit unrelated to a purchase, or any other form of refund, except where required by applicable law.

The Gift Card and the Bonus Card are non-refundable and non-returnable. They are not credit cards, debit cards, or charge cards. They do not earn interest or any other form of return.

8. Returns and Exchanges

Merchandise purchased in whole or in part with a Gift Card or Bonus Card may be returned or exchanged in accordance with the Boutique’s standard return policy in effect at the time of purchase. Any refund of such a purchase will be issued in the form of store credit or a new Maison Territo paper gift card, equal to the amount originally paid using the card(s).

9. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Cards

The Gift Card and the Bonus Card are treated like cash. Maison Territo is not responsible for any card that is lost, stolen, destroyed, damaged, or used without the holder’s authorization. Lost, stolen, or damaged cards will not be replaced and any remaining balance will not be reimbursed.

The customer is responsible for keeping the card in a safe place and for verifying the amount, the signature of the salesperson, and the date written on the card at the time of purchase.

10. Combinability with Other Offers

Unless expressly stated otherwise by Maison Territo in writing, the Anniversary Promotion cannot be combined with any other ongoing promotion, discount, employee discount, corporate offer, or special program offered by the Boutique.

The Bonus Card may not be applied to the purchase of another Gift Card, to taxes already paid, or to any prior purchase. Using the Bonus Card on a regular-priced item does not prevent that item from being eligible for any other in-store promotion in effect at the time of the transaction, subject to the conditions of the other promotion.

11. Fraud, Misuse, and Suspension

Maison Territo reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or void any Gift Card or Bonus Card if it has reason to believe that the card has been altered, duplicated, forged, obtained through fraud, or used in a manner that does not comply with these terms and conditions. In such cases, no refund or replacement will be issued.

12. Modification of These Terms

Maison Territo reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The version in effect on the date of purchase of the Gift Card and the corresponding Bonus Card will continue to apply to that card. The most recent version of these terms is available in-store, on request, at the Maison Territo boutique at Royalmount.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Maison Territo will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the purchase, use, loss, theft, alteration, or invalidation of a Gift Card or a Bonus Card, except in cases of intentional or gross fault on its part.

14. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws applicable in the province of Québec and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Gift Card, the Bonus Card, or the Anniversary Promotion shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Montréal, Québec.

15. Privacy

Maison Territo may collect limited personal information from customers participating in the Anniversary Promotion solely for purposes of administration, customer service, and compliance with applicable law. This information is processed in accordance with the Boutique’s privacy practices and with applicable Québec privacy legislation. Customers may, at any time, request access to or rectification of their personal information by contacting the Boutique.

16. Language

In accordance with section 55 of the Charter of the French language, the parties acknowledge that these terms have been drawn up in French and in English. In the event of any discrepancy between the two versions, the French version shall prevail.
