At Maison Territo, a home is defined as much by how it feels as by how it looks. From the moment the showroom is entered, a calm and welcoming atmosphere is felt. Maison Territo signature candle was created to bring that feeling into the home, a scent shaped by the story of the Maison, and handcrafted in Italy, from the ceramic vessel to the fragrance itself.
Each ceramic vessel is made by hand, one by one slowly shaped, carefully finished, and built to last, much like furniture from another time. Designed to be lived with, not just admired, it is finished with a refined leather handle that elevates it beyond a simple candle. Once the candle is finished, the vessel becomes an object to keep, not something to discard.
The fragrance was born from the memories that shaped the Territo family. It opens with black currant, apple, and orange blossom, a luminous freshness, echoing the curiosity and momentum that carried the family from Ribera, Sicily, to Montreal, and the early years spent building something from nothing. Then comes the heart: patchouli, rosewood, and iris, warm woods and soft florals inspired by the back of the store, the familiar scent of wood, varnish, glue, and leather, where pieces were repaired, cared for, and made to last. Finally, it settles into tonka bean, vanilla, and caramel, a comforting trail reminiscent of family dinners, late nights, and coffee between deliveries, a feeling that lingers long after the lights go out.
Together, these notes create more than a fragrance: they create a feeling. Once lit, the room changes. Time slows down. An ordinary moment becomes unforgettable. The Maison Territo signature candle can be discovered in the Montreal showroom, presenting itself as it was meant to be: softly, naturally, and beautifully.
